Dr Amanat Ali Jalbani has over 20 years of work experience in the public and private sector.

Currently, he is working as a Dean of Management Sciences Department and Coordinator CMD at SZABIST-Karachi w.e.f 2002 to date He is a full time Faculty Member, teaching postgraduate classes of MS/PhD and MBA Programs.

With his core interests in Public-Private Partnership/ Change Management, Liberalization and Commercialization of SOEs, Development Economics and Human Resources Management, Dr Jalbani has conducted various workshops/Trainings with the organizations like United Nations Office for Project Services (UNoPS), SIDA etc and has been involved in various types of consultancies.

He is HEC approved Supervisor and has Supervised MS and PhD research studies. He is a Member of various academic and non-academic bodies in and outside Pakistan. Dr. Jalbani is the author of over forty research papers and articles published in journals of international repute in Pakistan and presented in different research conferences.

Prior to joining SZABIST, he was Head of Management Science Department at Isra University Hyderabad   (w.e.f 1998 to 2002). He has also worked as an Assistant Editor of a Research Journal - Commerce and Economic Review, at S.A.Latif university, Khairpur.

Dr Jalbani started his career from the Department of Commerce at S. A. Latif University, Khairpur (w.e.f 1978 to 1998). He was actively involved there in Teaching, Administrative and other academic activities. He also has worked as a Chairman of the Department. Based on his established reputation as an Academician, Researcher, he was hired by the Isra University where he established the Management Science Department. .Later-on joined SZABIST – Karachi.
